Our dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for the year 2021. We thank you for the privilege of being a part of the plan you have for this year. Lord the year just gone was difficult and challenging for us to varying degrees. Through it our faith has been stretched but we give thanks because we are still standing.
Father you started a deeper work in your children. Help us surrender ourselves to your plans and purpose for this new year. Help us to be totally sold out to following you and not looking back until we see your purposes fulfilled in our lives, families and our nation. In Jesus name . Amen

Isaiah 43:18-19 The Passion Translation
Stop dwelling on the past. Don’t even remember these former things. I am doing something brand new, something unheard of. Even now it sprouts and grows and matures. Don’t you perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and open up flowing streams in the desert.
As we close the pages on 2020, an extremely challenging year for us all, a year like no other, a year filled with pain, sickness, sadness, confusion, grief, fear, anxiety... A year in which we must give God thanks because He has been with us and
taken us through it all.
As we enter 2021 a New Year, blank pages, let us remember the good things that happened to us and our families. It is easy to allow the past to hold us back and focus on what went wrong, or didn't happen, but we must welcome 2021 and look at the new things God is about to do and bring forth in our lives. Keep your eyes fixed on HIM.

The word that I have in my Spirit is, God wants us to intensify our prayer life, he wants us to increase in spending time in his word, with fasting and prayer
for 2021.

As I write this I think on what the year 2020 has been. Yes it will be remembered for a global pandemic, lockdown and restrictions. But in the midst of all of this and behind the masks, hand sanitizing, mass fear and conspiracy there is a promise being fulfilled. One which we can neither stop or want to prevent….which is the return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. So as we gather and prepare, albeit very differently, for 2021 I encourage us to "look up" for our redemption draws near - Luke 21v28. Therefore know, understand, believe and recognise that the Lord has been, and will be, with us until the Day of His Redemption….Amen! Have a blessed 2021…!

I believe in all the uncertainties that lies ahead God reminds us of his unfailing love and provision which sees us through every circumstance of life.
Remain blessed. “Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you. “Afflicted city, lashed by storms and not comforted, I will rebuild you with stones of turquoise, your foundations with lapis lazuli.” Isaiah 54:10-11

"I feel the Lord is saying to me personally to continue pursuing Him, listen to His voice and follow after Him. He wants us all to remain purposeful and intentional with all He has given to us to do and be responsible for those precious souls and loved ones He has given to us. Phil 3:13-14 "Brethren I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal, for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." To reach and move requires us to shift, transfer, change, advance and progress. This sounds so exciting to me - what are we waiting for?"
